There are a few interesting ways you can use your new automations. You're not just limited to a viewer commenting on your post. In fact, you can get much more creative than that!
Instagram Stories
In the same way a user can comment on your post to trigger your automation, they can also reply to your story. Tell your Instagram followers to reply to your story with a specific keyword and the automation will trigger.
Example: You post a story about a listing and tell people to reply to the story with the word 'buyer' if they want more information.
Instagram DMs
You can tell your Instagram followers to DM you a keyword if they are interested in a specific property, interested in listing their property, or interested in meeting with you.
Example: Create a line in your Instagram bio that tells people to DM you the keyword 'buyer' if they want to set up a consultation call with you. This will link directly to your Calendly (if you've provided the link to our team) after we ask the lead a series of questions that collect their contact information.
Instagram Comments
When you post a property tour video or an educational video with the intent of getting leads, start your post caption with "Comment (TRIGGER) for more info." This will be the first thing people see when they view your post, which makes it more likely for them to act.
Example: Post a property tour video of one of your listings or an active listing in order to generate buzz. Tell anyone who is interested in the property to leave a comment with a specific keyword.
Instagram Live
Going live on Instagram? Let our team know, and we'll set up an automation that will get you leads. Whether you're going live on your own or you're meeting up with your preferred lender, there are countless ways to get leads from Instagram Live.
Example: Each week, one of our clients goes live with their preferred lender to update their followers on the housing market and interest rates. They tell anyone who is interested in a personalized consultation to leave a comment on the live video with the word 'LEARN', which then sends them the automation that collects their contact information and sends them to a link to book their meeting.
Facebook Comments

Facebook QR Code
Utilize Manychat with Facebook QR codes to streamline the collection of leads at events or from print materials. Place QR codes on business cards, flyers, or signboards at property sites. When scanned, the QR code can direct prospects to a Manychat conversation where they can register their details, ask questions, or book viewings. This method not only enhances lead capture efficiency but also provides a modern, interactive experience for potential buyers.
